We’re so excited to welcome you to the Jaguar family! Whether you’re enrolling your child for the first time or transferring from another school, this page is your go-to resource for getting started. At Frost Elementary, we are committed to making the registration process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Step 1: Begin by registering online through HISD:
Create an account if you don’t already have one, and be sure to select the 2025–2026 academic school year.
Step 2: Visit Frost Elementary to complete campus-specific paperwork and submit the following required documents:
Required Documents:
- Copy of the student’s birth certificate

Copy of the student’s immunization record

Copy of the student’s Social Security card (if available)

Copy of the parent/guardian’s driver’s license or photo ID

Proof of residency (choose one):

Current electric, gas, or water bill showing residential service

Full lease agreement (if renting) — all lease agreements will be verified with the landlord

If Applicable:
- Copy of the most recent report card (for students entering first through fifth grade)

Withdrawal form (if enrolling two or more weeks after school has started)

Gifted & Talented identification documents (even if the student did not qualify)

LEP/ESL/504/IAT/IEP/Special Education documents

Custodial documentation or certified divorce decree

Any previous school or private testing/evaluations
